BOTOX is made with a purified form of botulinum toxin. When injected, BOTOX temporarily blocks the nerve impulses to the facial muscles that contract to cause wrinkles. When these muscles are relaxed, the skin can lay smooth and wrinkles are reduced, restoring a more youthful look.
